What causes people who never snored to start snoring?

I never snored until a couple of years ago. I don’t understand why I would suddenly start doing that.

There are several different possible causes – the website http://www.webmd.com lists them
Obesity is the most common cause.
There are things that can worsen it, like sleeping on your back/stomach, drinking too much alcohol, etc.
Snoring could also be a sign of a more serious condition, obstructive sleep apnea.
Best to discuss this stuff with your doctor.
