How do you get somebody to stop snoring?

My girlfriend has her son over and OMG he snores SO loud. What can I do? Havenet been sleeping well.

The best thing to do is make them aware of it so they can subconsciously be aware of it. Figure out what way your girlfriend’s son is sleeping that make him snore – chances are it’ll likely be on his back. If that’s the case, encourage him to sleep on his sides or his stomach, this can be ’self-enforced’ by putting rolled up socks down his back – sounds silly, I know, but when he roles over onto his back he’ll feel it and move back.
I’ve also found nasal strips to be very effective. They won’t completely stop your girlfriend’s son snoring but they’ll provide relief. Don’t expect a miracle with them though, give them time to work. Let him wear them a few nights in a row before you can really notice any benefit.
If it keeps up and is dramatically effecting your girlfriend’s son’s sleep, then it’s important to talk to a doctor about this as it could be a sign of an underlying issue. Is he overweight? Does he have any medical problems? If it’s sleep apnea then there are a lot of risks involved and it’s difficult to tell the difference between snoring and sleep apnea.
Place a pillow over his head and press down until his feet stop kicking.
I’ve had good luck with the nasal strips.
