Does snoring while you're sleeping cause you to get less rest?

Apparently I snore and talk in my sleep and I am tired no matter how much sleep I get. Just wondering if this was a fact or a myth. Thank you.

its a myth, low energy or feeling of tiredness can be lack of a vitamin or waking up during a high point in your REM sleeping cycle. if you feel the snoring does continue to cause problems try a breather right strip
It doesn’t seem to bother my boyfriend, as he does both. Guess it would be a myth.
people tend to snore when they are extremely tired, try to get some rest in addition to sleeping at night
Some people snore when their airway is partially obstructed, e.g. older people; lying on your back etc. In this case you may get less air and hence less oxygen and this could cause tiredness. Also, if snoring awakens you during the night you may be interrupting the normal sleep cycle and this will cause fatigue. You can use various devices found at local pharmacies, firm, comfortable pillows. For talking in your sleep try calming your mind. Relax at least a half hour before going to sleep; stop TV, do a little gentle movement, stretch, meditate or gently follow your breathing for 5 or 10 minutes. Have sleeping area quiet, cool, comfortable and dark.
IDK But i do know That if u sleep next to or close to a snoring person it causes u less sleep LOL
