20 years old… I am having a sleep study at the end of the month and my doctor is pretty sure I have sleep Apnea, as I am tired all the time and snore really badly. But for the past 4-5 years Ive been experiencing really bad depression and anxiety. This past year has been the worse, as I moved to a new state and my anxiety has turned into what might be social anxiety. I feel nervous and paranoid around people. Always thinking they don’t like me and that they are talking bad about me. Do you think the sleep apnea could have caused this, as I’ve had this sleep problem since I was a child.

My dad is 60 yrs old. He has no diseases that he knows of. But is not healthy he is borderline diabetic, on pills for everything you can think of, snores extremely loudly (Sleep Apnea). When he lays down to go bed he coughs a lot. Occasionally about once or twice a week when he eats fairly late like 7ish he will vomit his food late at night. He sees the doctor every 3 months.

He tried that mouth piece they advertise on TV and it didn’t work. I NEED some SLEEP! When I was working full-time I was a sorry sort. Exhausted all the time. . . I can not get a job because I am so tired all the time. I have tried ear plugs but I can still hear him. I need my own room I guess but we can not afford to sell and buy a bigger house, nor put on an addition. Has anyone had success with other ideas to stop snoring? Thanx!

I was just curious about something. Can people hear everything your saying when they are asleep (like heavy sleepers). Cause what if your talking about somebody…like your talking to someone else about a birthday party and the birthday boy/girl is sleeping on a couch across the room from you…how can you tell if that person on the couch is sleeping or if they are just lying there? I’ve heard that you can tell a person is in a dead sleep if they are snoring. So…should you just go to another room or could it be safe to talk in the same room?

Is it possible for a person with sleep apnea to not snore every night? To actually sleep well some nights?
It is my 2 year old. HE has an appointment tomorrow with his pedi for it. I had known he sometimes woke from it but when I was up all night with our youngest for several nights over the weekend I saw just how OFTEN it was happening. Last night he slept really reall though.

Is there any specific way I have to sleep, or what do I need to do before going to sleep?
