Does anybody know about herbal treatment of snoring? Thanks

I START SNORING FROM LAST 3 YEARS I HAD DNS PROBLEM AND HAD SURGERY BEFORE 4 MONTHS BUT THAT DONOT REMEDIES MY SNORING?MY WEIGHT IS 84 KILOGRAM….I TRIED A LOT OF SPRAY HELP ME

My dad is very stubborn. I am so sure he has sleep apnea because I looked up the symptoms and he pretty much matches all of them. Loud snoring, long pauses in his breathing (20-30 seconds), extreme sleepiness throughout the day, irritability, fatigue, mood changes, and headaches. Sleep apnea can cause serious problems in one’s life and I am so scared for my father. When ever we go out to a hotel on vacation and have to sleep in the same room, I can hear the pauses in his breathing and it freaks me out because I am afraid he is going to die or something. I asked him why he doesn’t go to the doctor so he can get treatment, but he insisted that everything was okay. My dad hates admitting he is wrong. How can I convince him that he needs to see a doc asap so he won’t have to continue having these problems? Its really taking a toll on me also (the irritability and mood changes). Hey guys, I’m moving in with my friends in the fall for college and I know I have a very bad/loud snoring problem. I don’t think the nose strips or vapor sprays work that well. Should I give those mouth pieces a try? Should I see a doctor? Can anyone let me know of websites or products that have worked for them? THANKS so much!

I have tried various remedies but nothing seems to work we are now considering surgery ….. ok not by me even though I feel like sometimes! any body got any useful suggestions??????

Gypsy
I waited fer their gentle snoring
And escaped into the night
The moon was generous ta me
Pouring out her gracious light

I made me way ta the creek
It’s waterery path me guide
And cut through forest and pasture
With a sure an steady stride

I dinna know – not then
It was to be the very last night
I could watch the gypsy dance
In the glow of the firelight

I heard their untamed music
Far off and beckoning me
An me heart was jumpin wildly
Wantin ta keep ta the beat

And then I saw the fire glow
And the stand of trees, my hide
And minded ta watch me stealth
That forced me to slow me stride

Breathless I was, but not from the hike
Fer my gypsy girl was there
And dancin wilder than e’er I’d seen
And tossin her long, curly hair

There were bangles on her arms
And around her ankles too
Catchin the light as she danced
And jumpin wi each o’ her moves

An old gypsy woman was there
Cross-legged on the ground
Smokin a pipe an smilin
And noddin her head at the sound

An dreamin I was of the gypsy lass
How her mouth would feel on me own
When I glanced ta see the old woman
And I knew that I’d been found

Her eyes locked on me own
An I could’na tear ‘em away
But the frown on her brow softened
A nod givin permission to stay

I’d had me share of knocks by then
Clocked in the head a time or two
A bit of rough treatment from me dad
Though he had a lot ta do

Takin the pipe from her mouth
And still wi her eyes on mine
The old gypsy smiled me a smile
And I ne’er had seen it’s kind

The gypsy lass who danced so wild
And stirred the man in me
Has faded from me mind with years
But such is fickle memory

But I were a lad knew little but work
Or the clout of a calloused hand
So it’s only as an old man now
I finally understand

Why the lovely dancin gypsy lass
Is not the face that I can see
But clearly etched is the one
Who smiled a kind smile at me

Okay, so here is the deal. Me and my husband have been married a little over 3 years. His snoring wasn’t a problem when we first got married because I was a deep sleeper. After we had our son I became a light sleeper. (I guess its a mom thing) I tried ear plugs, listening to music through my ipod all night, he tried breathe right strips, throat sprays, laying on his side, laying on his stomach. With the earplugs and music I could still hear his snoring so loudly that I couldn’t sleep. Also, the music made it hard for me to go to sleep, eventhough it was relaxing music. Laying on his side helps only a little. Laying on his stomach helps, but he says it hurts for him to lay on his stomach and ends up rolling back onto his side 10 minutes in. The throat sprays and breath right strips did absolutely nothing. Since neither one of us was getting sleep, me because of his snoring and him because I would wake him up and tell him to roll back onto his stomach, we took seperate bedrooms. We’ve had this sleeping arrangement for a little over 6 months now. However, we feel like it is damaging our marriage and want to start sleeping in the same bed again. Does anyone have some suggestions to help him stop snoring or help me sleep with his snoring or a combo of the two?

Also, I know most of you are going to ask if he is overweight and yes he is, but won’t do much to change it. I’ve already tried that to no avail. He can’t get tested at the doctors because if they discover that he has sleep apnia then he would loose his CDL’s and loose our only source of income because he has no other skills. (his words not mine) Please no comments about the weight or sleep apnia, I just need a solution right now.
