am 20 and my rooommate is 27. Contrarily, I feel like the one that is much older and am starting to fear his instability. Ill explain.
It all started sunday night when out of nowhere he gets into a really dark mood. I go in and the whole room is dark and he is on his computer watching a movie (which is what he does almost all day every single day) with his jacket on and his hood on. I ask him if he will be in for a while because I was going to take a shower and wanted to know if I should take my key or not and it took me waving down his attention just to recieve an "i dont know" I couldnt get more out of him. So I went to sleep and he is still watching the movie and I was in bed. He usually leaves the room when I go to sleep because he works at night job. I called his name softly with the intent of asking him if he worked tonight and he yanked his laptop out of the electric socket and stomped out in a very pouty way. On his way out I asked whats wrong multiple times but he ignored me.
then in the morning he was snoring and he had old me when he starts snoring to wake him up, i did many times until he finally yelled out in frustration "why dont you just shove it up your *** hole!" I got up furious over that and the complete rudeness the night before and told him im just trying to sleep and that he told me to tell him when he was snoring and he said "well that makes two of us" with his eyes closed the whole time. I left and worked out since my sleep was completely done for the morning and when I came back he was up earlier than usual and I asked him what was wrong so we could work things out. He completely ignored me and left. He we havent talked since though he has been in and out. Is this immature silent treatment he’s been giving me considered harassment or bullying? I am somewhat fearing for my life. I am a naturally paranoid person as it is, but he is (i’m almost completely positive) clinically retarded and is incredably self destructive considering all he does is watch movies, eat really unhealthy food, and doesnt sleep even when he has the chance to. He obviously represses alot of feelings I just fear I will eventually be the outlet in a gruesome murder. He owns about a thousand movies and the vast majority (about 90 percent) are horror films.

My cat snores… loudly. It’s annoying when I’m doing homework because I hear it in the background. Is there any way to stop her from snoring without disturbing her nap?
