So I am almost 20 years old, 5′9" and 140 pounds and I think I may have sleep apnea.. I don’t snore, just a heavy breather in my sleep, but last August when I was at my friend’s house she woke me up in the middle of the night because I was gasping for breath. Then last month I woke up in the middle of the night gasping for breath, the worst feeling ever. Then last night my boyfriend woke me up because he said I stopped breathing three times and then finally I started gasping for breath.. Is this early signs of sleep apnea or something else? Isn’t it pretty abnormal for someone my age to have it? LIke I said, I’m not overweight and I’m not snoring. I know I should probably go for a sleep test but I wanted to see if there is anything else it could be. Thanks!

Ok so my husband snores really bad. I already wear ear plugs, like the really good kind. Also he wears these nose strips on his nose, and he still snores really bad. Last night he woke me up with his snoring several times. Its not just the noise, he also vibrates the bed with his snoring. I need ideas or suggestions to help reduce his snoring, besides sleeping in separate rooms. So if you experience this problem and have found some sort of solution, please share it with me. Thanks for your help.

So in a few weeks we have school camp, and sometimes when my hay fever is bad or I have a cold I snore, it’s a bit embarrassing! So I was wondering if there are any home remedies for this? I’ve heard the products you can buy from the chemist don’t work, is this true? If not what would you recommend? Thanks x

Is there any device that works to control snoring? I’m not interested in surgery and already use a CPAP machine.
