I’m a chick, and after gaining a lot of weight, I snore. I know losing weight is the BEST thing to do, and I am currently working on that, but in the meantime….

Which OTC remedies work best?

**I sleep on my side to try and prevent the snoring, but my boyfriend says it’s obviously not working. *lol* When I’m on my back, I actually seem to have sleep apnea. (I don’t have insurance at this time)

I have a 6 year old doxie I adopted from a shelter. She was chubby when I got her, but seems to have gained more weight. In addition to the obvious back concern, she has started making a rather loud snoring sound, not only when she sleeps — all the time. It seems to have gotten worse as she’s gained weight.

Could her weight be causing this? And, also any suggestions of what the best food is to help a dog lose weight? I’ve been trying several different things — nothing works!

if a dog has severe heartworms can it still be treated with the dog being okay.my dog used to be really hyper and he still is sometimes like when he sees new people hes 4 and now he just sleeps like all day.im worried he has heartworms but he has a vet appointment tomorrow.what is the success rate of heartworm treatment.do dogs sometimes have to be put down from heartworms.6 to 7 monthes ago i think in december was when he was at the vet he tested negatice for heartworms and lyme disease…hes also had to ticks since them.we dogive him heartworm preventive pills andwe use that flea and tick stuff that you put on them monthly…but i cant say we do it like right on time and sometimes we give it to him a little late.anything else you know about heartworms would be nice.he sleeps all day and in his sleep he twitches and makes snoring sounds and his eyes kind of look like there fluttering.sometimes he weezes too.i dont think he coughs but i dont fully understand what he that is like.
do you think it sounds like he has heartworm and is it really really fatal or is it farely easy to treat even when severe
they always test he is part cocker spaniel and part terrior

He also has more gas than a Nascar Pit Crew? He just won’t wake up….

Dr. says I may have sleep apnea. But I’m not overweight or even heavy; I don’t snore or drink alcohol or smoke or anything like that. But the second I lay dow, my breathing gets a little-just a little hard and when I’m aut to fall asleep, I stop breathing. I had asthma when Iwas a lot younger but those symptoms don’t resemble asthma either. What could be wrong?

I love my cat dearly but almost every night she snores! She even starts sucking my finger in the night. Is that normal.

I’ve tried every position to sleep in but a head stand. MY wife hates it & I feel helpless. i’m not overweight. Any ideas on how to help it?

My guinea pig is lifeless, not eating and shedding lots of hair. She does not appear to be scratching or biting at skin. Prior to the last couple of days we never even saw her sleep now she is sleeping all the time and she also is snoring when she sleeps.
