During the winter months when we have the heat turned on – I get very stuffed up, especially at night.
We have had our vents and ducts cleaned. I have an air purifier on my side of the bed. A humidifier only makes me more stuffed up, just less thick I guess (tmi, hah).
I have a feeling it is dander from our pets coming through the vents, as I am allergic to all 4 of them. Either that or dust. Typically my allergies dont bother me much unless the animals are all over me for long periods of time.
Is there anything I can use, sprays or anything to keep me from getting congested? I don’t take allergy pills usually, and prefer not to, but I would if it would help.
My partner is tired of hearing me snore and I am tired of feeling like I’ve got a massive head cold every morning and having phlegm and mucous all the time in the winter.
Forgot to mention I have also got asthma. But since I have gotten older I don’t need meds anymore – except the odd shot here and there when I have a really hard time breathing. It’s fairly well controlled now.

And how can I get her to stop? It’s driving me insane. I can’t sleep, I dread thinking about going to bed. I don’t want to sleep in separate rooms for the rest of this. Earplugs?

Im a 19 year old girl who has asthma. My mum and sister say I snore and want to try to stop it without putting those stripes on my nose. My dad snores and he has Asthma as well. We are the only 2 in our family who have asthma. What can I do?
I also only sleep on my side

I have these symptoms:
daytime sleepiness and fatigue (very often)
headaches when I wake up (often)
sweating at night (always)
heartburn at night (sometimes)
feeling unrefreshed after sleep even for a full 8 hours (99% of the time)
memory and concentration problems (all too often)
snoring (always)
restlessness during sleep (always)
Do you think I may have sleep apnea and should be checked out at a sleep clinic? I scheduled an appointment with my primary care physician for tomorrow. If I do have it, it would be a relief because then I can start getting treatment and maybe, just maybe, get a good night’s sleep for once. I always feel so tired after I wake up even if I got a full 8 hours. Sometimes in the morning when I get to work I pass out at my desk for as much as an hour or so. I have trouble remembering things and I am only 25!
Oh, I also have asthma and use an inhaler during workouts. I can get lightheaded and short of breath sometimes but it is only really serious when I am exercising.

My father has always been a snorer, but lately its been worse. We can hear it through the walls, my mom has gotten sick from no sleep. The nose stripes don’t work because he says they are too tight. Changing sleep positions doesn’t work. I have looked up some other causes, my dad is overweight ( that’s what the wii fit said ), he does drink, but he doesn’t want to to change. Is there anything we can do and please don’t say surgery.

I have a sleeping partner who does not stop snoring!
I’ve been up all night just because they can shut up.
And I practically have to scream their name and tell them to go on their side or something.
But they just fall right back asleep and snore again.
>: l It’s so freaking annoying!
Uh.
It’s kind of 5:54 in the morning.
