Snoring Causes & Treatment
I have tried ear plugs and things like that but nothing seems to help. Do you know of any non surgical treatments that would help or any advice ??

I have been having repreated tonsil infections, and my uvula sticks to my tonsils or my tongue. I have difficulty swallowing at times. My doctor had me take home something to see if I had any incidents at night while sleeping where I stopped breathing, because I have started snoring. The thing I brought home said I had 71 incidents, but I haven’t heard anything back from the doctors office, is that I high number or normal?
I could lose some weight, my blood pressure is usually in the 70’s for the bottom number and I smoke occasionally
I sleep on my belly. I often wake up with a crust of dried saliva running down the side of my face. I snore loudly as pointed out by others. Does anyone else have a similar experience? How can I avoid this?
We have tried breathe right strips which didnt work and was a huge waste of money. I wear earplugs but lately its been getting worse and I think its because of his allergies (and he wont take a clariton when i freakin tell him to). He will sleep on his side and he will still snore, but of course its worse on his back. Any other suggestions?
When i was about 8 wks pregnant i noticed that i had a stuffy nose and my hubby complained that i had started to snore -I’VE NEVER SNORED!!! I am now 18.5wks and still got the stuffy nose, worse at night and my hubby is going next door to sleep due to my annoying snoring. Is this a pregnancy symptom and what causes it.. Is there anything i can do to stop it???????????????????????
"NEXT DOOR" AS IN THE NEXT ROOM.. IN THE SAME HOUSE!!
I could not sleep last night I had my husband snoring up a storm next to me and Max in the floor snoring like there’s no tomorrow. I know i can fix my hubby by putting a pillow over his face…
but how do I help Max to not snore so much?
Probably not Fallon.. with Penny’s squished face I know that snoring is horrible
The problem is that he’s a heavy snorer and I’m a light sleeper. That right there spells trouble. He starts snoring within seconds of drifting off – even just being half asleep. So it’s not like I can even try to fall asleep first. He just starts right away. And it gets really loud.
I feel bad about bringing it to his attention when it gets bad because it’s not like there’s much he can really do about it.
Luckily, he doesn’t snore like that ALL the time. Some nights are better than others.
It’s still frustrating when I can’t get any sleep at all. Having one of us leave the room to sleep on the couch isn’t much of a solution to me either.
So I feel kind of stuck. Any ideas how to work with this?
sometimes its quite sweet but not so much when she keeps me awake
she’s downstairs and ive got the door closed lol! i would never give her anything that may harm her and the vet says i’ve just got to put up with it, which is fine but i was just wondering if anybody had any ideas?
lol if not i’ll just get some earplugs
thanks!
Comming from his mouth, it’s more like his nose and mouth, not the same kind of sound when they are about to throw up. It almost sounds like he can’t breath. I don’t know, I could be wrong, I’ve never had a dog before. It a 15 pound Palmerainen. Thanks for your help!
I LOVE Melissa B’s, Kiss Me Deadly and Stark’s ANSWERS. IT WILL BE VERY TOUGH TO PICK AN ANSWER. I THINK THAT MAYBE THE ONLY FAIR THING TO DO IS TO PUT IT A VOTE, WHICH I HATE BUT I LIKE THEM ALL 3 THE SAME. ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYONE?
I was trying to make some dorm rules but my roomate says her sleep apnea prevents her from going to sleep before midnight…is there any way this is true. She does not snore, nor does she wear any masks or anything to help her breath better that may prevent her from falling asleep. Yet she insists that she can not get off of her computer at a certain time and just go to sleep because of her condition. Am i missing something or Is this even possible??
