My boyfriend has sleep apnea and snores. It has gotten progressively worse. I am not sure what to do. it seems when i elbow him, he stops temporarily but not long enough for me to fall alseep. It is often so back that it not only prevents me from sleeping but, once i fall asleep, it wakes me up again. HELP!

This guy is a big ass samoan dude on the heavy side, who happens to be my brother in law…lol. Right now I have to "neutralize" the snoring by placing my outdated 300mhz p2, 3ft tall tower next to the wall. I don’t even use it other than to battle the snoring…which doesnt work cause the snoring is straight up in the bass frequency range (super long range prenetration). I cant chop his head off, or wish him dead, so I have to find another method. Can I hang a poster sized sheet of Dynamat? Can a smaller piece of dynamat soundproof a larger area or does it have to cover the actual area the sound is transmitted through. Any cheap methods? Keeping it thin is a plus! I don’t know how women friggin’ stay asleep…unless its a thing only female physiology can handle…like childbirth?
I hate wearing earplugs. My ears get all sweaty eventually and I cant sleep from the noise bouncing around in my head, whatever that is, you know, you can hear yourself breathing loud. Any sound engineers out there?

I have a bad snoring problem…its embarrasing and i am always sleepy during the day due to lack of sleep…any suggestions?

My husbands snoring is really affecting our marriage. It dosent matter what position he sleeps in what pillow he uses he still snores really loudly.
Sleep for me has become a battle ground in that i have ear plugs, put cover over my head and then my arm but i can still hear him.
Every night i am woken up and then struggle to get back to sleep. I feel really resentful. We have tried sprays, strips and gel thing, electronic device that he wore on his wrist and gave him shocks but nothing works.
Our GP is not interested all he says is he needs to lose weight.
I dont know if i can carry on like this for the rest of my life. We dont have a spare room so i go to the bottom of the bed to sleep to dull it a little bit.

My question is : has anyone tried private treatments and did they work?

i hate the fact i snore. anything i can do at home to reduce or stop my snoring? i have really bad sinus.

I doubt it’s nasal congestion because I don’t have trouble breathing when I’m awake. But my sister tells me that I snore. I know for a fact that I do, but just do not know how to stop.

My better half is starting to complain about my snoring. It’s to the point where neither of us are sleeping well because I am getting poked, slapped, beaten and pushed on all night. Is there any easy way to reduce or stop whatever causes snoring?? I would like to get a good nights sleep and hopefully in the same bed!!!
