My teenage daughter slept in the same room as me for a few nights last week.We got to talking last night and she told me I breath really heavy when I’m asleep. She said it’s not like snoring just really loud steady heavy breathing.I always wake up early but find I’m tired after a couple of hours, could my breathing while I’m asleep be the cause. As far as I’m aware this is continuous throughout the time I’m asleep.

I am hearing complaints that i SNORE like thunder, air plane, train etc etc…….. I feel bad for disturbing others that way….. I need any remedy for this…….

Does anyone have any reliable remedies for snoring?

Lately, I’ve been snoring a lot and it’s real aggravating to the wife. Do you guys have any good information or tips to stop my snoring, before she puts a pillow over my face and kill’s me?

What could cause sudden snoring?

I have never really snored that I know of but lately my husband says I snore all the time and really loud. I am wondering what could cause me to just all of a sudden start snoring. I am 41 and have gained a little weight in the last year but just wondering if that is all it is or if it could be something serious?

anyone got a good solution for heavy snoring?

I dont snore but I know about my friends mom that does she’s horrible and has been snoring since I can remember like you can hear her through her door and if shes in the living room you can hear her down the hall and one time she was snoring so loud she was making like a vacum sucking gargling noise and then she coughed and sometimes she will just randomly start coughing if she’s snoring really loud

I have to crank it up really high some days – today it is at 91/100 and I am still hearing the snoring :(

Anyone know any good snoring remedies?

I’ve recently started snoring. i’m using breathe right nose strips and they help but they don’t stop it completely. I don’t mind the snoring but my poor boyfriend needs a good nights sleep!

How do people stop snoring?

Lool, my sister is really bugging me about how she wants to stop snoring. does anyone no what solutions there is for this

I know I have sleep apnea. I snore so loud and I have excessive fatigue to the point that I have to sleep more than 12 hours a day. It also runs in my family. I just got a CPAP machine from someone. How dangerous would it be for me to use it? Educated responses only.
Monica- I asked for educated responses only. I am also in the health profession and that doesn’t mean I know everything about everything. CPAP machines are not by prescription only, otherwise you could not buy them anywhere. And If you aren’t even aware that they are for sleep apnea, I am not quite sure how you managed to become a nurse.
Davisk- pneumothorax is not a "hole in the lungs". I have studied cardiorespiratory care. I am also well aware that too much O2 can be dangerous. Also, there are no H2O levels on this machine. Are you meaning O2 levels? And finally, it is not gross. Obviously I am not stupid enough to use another person’s mask! lol.
